Today as I was sitting at work dreaming away about my 3 boxes of colourful beauty that is soon to be touching down in New Zealand making a swift halt at my front doorstep ofcourse, It got me  thinking about how much money and effort goes into the thought and process of my addiction.

I carefully scope out all the makeup pages I can find with Sephora,Ulta,Stila,Nars,Benefit and MAC being my main go to shopping destinations.Along with this I also follow numerous bloggers,vloggers and inspiring artists.

Some of these beauties I am super envious of as when a product launches they are lucky enough to be on the companies PR list. This means they are able to swatch the beauty goodness before it is available to the rest of us who are MUA's or simply just makeup obsessed, in my case I am both.

 I find myself daily justifying how I need this for my "Kit" actual fact I'm thinking of ways  I can personally wear the product myself. I then  also consider buying a double up of each,  as frankly it would be rude not to treat my clients and obviously you beautiful people (my followers!) to the products I personally love the most.

I've never been on a date alone as that would just be a little sad but when it comes to shopping for makeup online , I am off in my own little world. Don't even try to talk to me as my family would know as I am far far away in a trance of makeup land. Once I have gathered my much needed info from swatches and reviews  I'm into it like a kid in a candy store. 

Lip products are generally up first as I have a major weakness especially where colours involved. If its bright I have to have it and even more so if its limited edition. Packaging plays a major role as I am a sucker for anything cute, pretty or girly it practically has buy me Stacey all over it.

Tarte cosmetics is a great example. they have my heart forever with their super cute eye catching packaging and array of beautifully created products.Eye palettes are hand on heart my main addiction The feeling of must have now is always the case as I find myself "Adding to the cart" the latest palettes to hit the shelves.

Face products are something I turn to Youtube for. There is nothing better than watching someone apply a foundation or primer you have your eye set on "Live". I find I get a great feel for how the product looks while it is being applied, how it looks worn by itself with no added powders and the toning's of the colours. 

Mascara,liner,gloss, bronzer and the boldness of blusher are things I impulse buy. If the colour doesn't suit me in the kit it goes. Atleast there is one thing I can say when it comes to my huge makeup collection is that not one thing has been wasted. If I don't like it I always find a use whether it gets popped in my kit or gifted to friends or family. It's a Win Win situation for everyone.

Words of advice if you feel you have a weakness much like my own. Don't try to justify it to anyone else but yourself it is your passion noone else's. So If you love spending your hard earned dollars on something pink and pretty go for it.

 In saying this I don't mean to shop until your having to busk outside your local department store to gain some extra cash to fund your habit,but be wise. Coupon Codes, Free shipping and most of all Dupes are great things to save you that little bit extra cash and if you can score yourself a GWP with it even better!

So in a nutshell you will never be alone there will always be me ,there for you if you need that little bit of convincing or that extra push in the right direction.Plus I have a 99.9% success rate so lets get to it !
