♥ What's your take on Mascara? ♥

With Kelly Osbourne being seen rocking the "no mascara on your bottom lashes " trend for Spring in her neck of the woods, it's got me thinking what your take on this would be?

I personally love the idea, during the week days for work I very rarely will be found with mascara applied to my bottom lashes. This is due to the relaxed environment I work in and with being under air conditioning, anything below my lower lash line generally tends to get it's move on throughout the day.

In saying that as soon as the weekend rolls its way around or if I'm off on a freelance job, I'm all for showing my bottom lashes a little TLC, especially if I'm heading out with falsies on top, I find it balances and completes my look.

So with a wardrobe of mascaras I wanted to share with you my Top 5 Faves!

As you can see majority have a more comb like brush with separated bristles, this is because I hate the look of clumpy lashes on myself. Having a smaller eye shape I like to get the most out of my lashes, especially when it comes to length and the way it compliments my eyes.

L'oreal Telescopic

Colour : Pay off is amazing, coats lashes on the first application with a nice shade of black. I prefer two coats to really define my lashes.
Brush : This brush is soft and flexible allowing you to reach for every individual lash.
Will this give you panda eyes ? Noway, the formula is so light it sticks to your lashes not your skin! Hooray!

Tarte Cosmetics Light, Camera, Lashes

Colour :  A true black even with just one coat,
Brush : I like that this brush isn't as defined, it allows more volume to be built especially when you comb down your lashes and then up 2 coats, giving you sassy lashes in no time.Panda eyes won't be an issue with this little gem either, stays put where it's meant to until removed.

Benefit They're Real

Colour : I love the depth of this formula, it really brings definition in just one coat.
Brush : Firm and flexible which makes for the perfect application.I love that the tip of this brush is perfect for getting those tiny lashes on the inside corner of your eye.
The longevity of this product is amazing, doesn't smudge or move at all, in fact it could even pass as being waterproof, it's that good!

Tip : Remove with Johnsons face wipes. Hold the wipe on the eye for a few seconds then slowly wipe downwards, never scrub your eyes.. OUCH!

Khroma Beauty - Stroke of midnight mascara

Colour : Once again you won't be let down by this, if you love a black mascara that stays a true tone all day, then you need this immediately.
Brush : Separated bristles to form pure perfection. This rubber brush is soft and flexible and perfect for anyone after long, luscious looking lashes. This product is long-wearing  which is great for keeping you looking bright eyed and bushy tailed all day.

Eye of Horus

Last but not least, you would have seen in my last post, the oh so fab Eye of Horus mascara.

This is great particularly for those with sensitive eyes or contact lense wearers. The brush is perfect for those who prefer something that does it all and with the formula being light, it makes for an overall comfortable wear. This is a mascara you will get hooked on fast.
