This afternoon a rather alluring package was sitting upon my doorstep awaiting the moment I grasped the scissors and ripped into the infamous MAC box to find 11 items of pure goodness. I thought by now the anticipation of ordering and receiving would be gone but oh no! The adrenaline you feel when you can envisage all the beauty that sits inside that little black box is indescribable, in my eyes once a makeup addict always a makeup addict so without further a do let me give you a quick run down under the sea to my first impressions of MAC Cosmetics -Alluring Aquatic Collection.

The 127 Split Fibre Face Brush has been a favourite of mine for quite some time and I was more than excited at the opportunity to repurchase this brush. I love that the mix of synthetic and natural fibres allow a soft diffused application with a little added coverage all in the flick of a wrist.
Clear Water Lipglass is such a little stunner, with a neutral base this is perfect for popping over any tone that needs a little sparkle. The Lipglass range does have a slight sticky feel, but that can be overlooked when your gleaming from ear to ear.
Extra Dimension Blush in shade Sea Me, Hear Me is stunning! I love these blushers and have collected a few over the years mainly for their smooth, velvety texture and flawless appearance on the skin. They give a natural soft glow but can be built up to your desired look.
L-R Mystical (Creemsheen), Enchanted One (Matte),Pet Me Please (Frost) and Goddess Of The Sea (Cremesheen)
Lets get lippy with these beautiful sea creatures! First impressions upon my first application of each shade was spot on. Colour pay off was on point, texture is smooth and the finishes they have chosen allow for a lengthy wear.MAC rarely ever lets me down when it comes to the lipstick department so it was a comforting experience to discover they are just as beautiful as ever.
Bronzer's...the perfect kiss of colour for those nights out, and right here are two of my favourite MAC shades Golden (Left) and Refined Golden (Right) even more of a bonus that they come in this super cute sea inspired packaging.
Golden is great for those pale toned babes and Refined Golden has a little more depth with a slight shimmer for those already olive beauties. I have previous experience using these shades as they are standard stock so I can personally vouch for their amazingness when it comes to contouring and sculpting your pretty little face.
Overall First Impressions Breakdown
Packaging : 9.5/10 I have never in my career seen such a genius way to portray the beautiful depths of Ocean. With 3D Droplets to create a water effect on both the boxes and product packaging MAC really have created an experience for all Alluring Aquatic buyers.
Product Performance based on colour pay off and expectations:
Lipglass : 9/10 - This lipglass is stunning, a must have if you like to glitz up your pout.
Lipsticks : 9.5/10 - Lipsticks I die for you, MAC have made an on point decision with the finishes of these particular shades. A long wearing high coloured pout is always a star in my eyes.
Blusher : 8/10 - I love the Extra Dimension Blushers, but they are a more natural looking formula, that take a little building so even though the inconvenience is slight I still prefer the regular powder blushers.
Bronzer : 8.5/10 - Gone are the days of ever looking like you've rolled in a bag of Doritos these bronzers are the perfect tone to give you a sunkissed glow all year round.
Brush: You make my face flawless therefore you get a 10! I love this brush and will continue to re-purchase them time and time again.
