As you all know I can't contain my love for cosmetics, and I just had to get my hands on the MAC Proenza Schouler Collection. Not only is the packaging oh so luxuriously sleek but the products themselves are to die for.
I purchased from this collection both of the Ombre Blushers and two of the Lipstick colours. The other products caught my attention of course but I felt they weren't a necessity as I already own the original versions. This year by far has been one of the best years for MAC Cosmetics when it comes to the launching of new exciting collections and products.
They nail it time and time again in capturing the heart and attention of eager makeup savvy MAC lovers, creating a hype and following for items we all lust over. It's amazing how much packaging can convince you to purchase and let's be honest we can all admit we fall weak in the knees for something a little pretty.
MAC Proenza Schouler will be on counters 26th May 2014 in New Zealand so be armed with your cards ladies as this is a collection you don't want to miss.
Meet Woodrose a gorgeous Lustre finish in the perfect shade of nude.
I'm a sucker for a good lipstick so when I saw both of these trouble makers it was a no brainer they would be added to my cart as quick as anything. Woodrose was just what I was looking for a semi sheer, glossy nude to compliment my natural lip tone and Pinkfringe speaks for itself, a girl is not the same without a stunning bold pink pout.
Pinkfringe takes the cake for the best when it comes to colour pay off and longevity but this is of course thanks to having a satin finish.

This gorgeous shade of flamingo pink is Pinkfringe, with a satin finish your pout will have a pop of colour that will go the distance.
Swatches from L-R
Blushers in shades Sunset Beach and Ocean City alongside lipsticks in Pinkfringe and Woodrose.
It's always hard to find the perfect peach tone, you can create your own by changing up the depth and tone with this Ombre Blusher in shade Ocean City.
I was super impressed with these blushers, the colour pay off is insane and I love that you can control the tone at your own fingertips. Both of the options available are so wearable for all skin tones making them a great staple item to have within your personal collection.
TIP: Too keep the Ombre effect I like to brush downwards from top to bottom ever so gently, to ensure I can keep the beautiful mix of shades.
