My obsession - when MAC meets Pink ♥

It's no lie I have an addiction to buying lipstick, I have no shame in my personal collection which spans to 200 + but for family and friends they often think it's ridiculous. The common line I hear is I bet you don't even wear them all. Well here it is the proof is in the pudding !

My obsession with the colour Pink has been strong ever since I can remember, from Barbie Dolls to Candy floss if it was pink I just had to have it. I can assure you nothing has changed and I'm still as in love with the colour as I was way back when.

My love for lipstick however started at the age of around 13, I physically cannot walk past a lipstick stand without a cheeky swatch or purchase so it's only natural for me too combine my love for both MAC Cosmetics and that beautiful shade of happiness and turn it into something big.

When it comes to picking my favourite pink hues from the wide range MAC Cosmetics have to offer it's a decision I really get stressed out over, how can one simply be better than the other? They are all so beautiful, with each of their own individuality's in a way just like people.

So I won't label them my 5 favourites but more of a recommendation on where you too can start your obsession when MAC meets Pink !

First up is Angel, the love of my life the first ever pink shade I purchased from within the MAC range. This shade is a subtle tone that gives the perfect dash of colour to your pout. I use this a lot especially in wedding season as it suits almost every skin tone.

Tip: I add a nude lip liner with a little bit of depth when applying to a dark skin tone, this just stops the shade from looking too washed out.

Please Me, is a matte cool toned pink that looks great against fair skin, It wears well and looks fab with a splash of clear gloss to glam it up that little bit.

Candy Yum-Yum is a must have for all of those daring enough to sport a super bright pout, again this is a matte formulation but it dresses your lips in the most flattering way.

Snob again is quite cool toned but sits between both Angel and Please Me. I feel on me this almost has a slight lilac tinge whenever I wear it. The colour pay off is great so perfect for if your after something that will stay on for a few hours at least.

Chatterbox I adore this shade, its bright enough to give you that little pop, but it's also safe enough for those looking for a stepping stone into wearing a little more colour.

If you have an obsession with any of the above let me know in the comments below i'd love to hear about the shades you just can't be without ♥
