♥ My Life In Lipsticks ♥

Hi Beauties ,

So I wanted to do something fun and Quirky with an idea I have personally thought up, a way I can let you in on my life a little more while incorporating some of my fave lippy's that describe myself as of that year in my life, after all this is a beauty blog and obviously I am totally Makeup Obsessed so please do let me know what you think below in the comments section!

This is an original idea so please if you would like to Retag I would really appreciate if you mention me and my blog when doing so :)

Here's me looking rad when I was two (on the right)

Obviously from the age of a newborn to around 7months life was pretty boring In my world nothing spectacular happened that I can remember  Until I was about 1 my nickname was Sumo ..

This was when my darling  mum would put me in the jolly jumper  dressing me in that rad looking fluro tracksuit with a sweatband on my head to match, while I jammed out to Thunderstruck by AC/DC looking ever so stylish.

The lipstick that would describe this time of my life would have to be  MAC Candy Yum Yum! In honour of that oh so bold 90's pink!

My toddler years up until my first day of school at the age of 5 were always a ball. With mum being a hairdresser my sister started to gain her creativity genes. With regular trims in the bedroom, (much to mums horror) this was a memory id rather forget. That half fringe and uneven ponytail look was not what I was going for ,so in honour of my bad hair days Chanel lipstick in shade boy explains the emotional state I was left in. Thanks Sis!

Ahh the first day of school , its safe to say i hated the earlier years of primary school, my parents split when I was young and since that day I was a total mummys girl! I had to be bribed to detach myself off her leg every morning.

The only good thing about primary was my sister and  cousin were at the same school. This meant I could tag along after them, clearly having your 5/6 year old sister hanging off your right hip wasn't the cool thing to do in the late 90's , so my teacher put in place a sticker chart to convince me to hang out with the kids in my own year.

To my disgrace this idea wasn't all too bad as  I met some of my childhood bestfriends  there. I was even awarded a certificate for hanging out with my own friends (Go ME!) and even to this day I still have it!

I feel MAC Angel is only too fitting in appreciation of my good behaviour.

The age of 12-13 I was really thriving in the sport department Hockey and Tennis was my jam and if I don't say so myself I wasn't too shabby. I Was Playing in teams well above my age so I guess I was doing something right?

I was always the girly girl wearing bows in my hair & a dash of gloss on the lips, with everything being pink and  of course it had to match, pencils, pens you name it even my hockey stick was pink. This is where I gained the nickname Barbie...I couldn't think of a more appropriate colour than MAC St Germain as for me personally this screams Barbie's Bestfriend!

Highschool came around and having a big group of friends only meant trouble. We use to get up to some mischief and to be honest we probably weren't the best influences on each other. Drinking and partying young we definitely made the most of every weekend and the most of every moment for that matter and to be honest I would do it all over again.

We had the time of our lives & some of the life lessons I learnt in those years I'm glad I learnt while I was young, MAC Rebel and Girl About Town Would describe these years to a tee!

Rebel & Girl about town

In my later teens is when I decided being a Makeup artist was where I belonged. Having always been the one to follow trends and products when it came to cosmetics out of all of my friends, working retail just wasn't me, So off I went and landed my first position as a Counter manager of Dr Lewinn's Skincare.

Around this time I was obsessed with corals so Sleek Papaya Punch you are the chosen one!

Climbing up the ladder in the cosmetics world was a huge achievement for myself being so young, proving I had what it takes to be an artist on one of the larger counters was definitely my goal, Volunteering for charity's that ran beauty events and being the artist for my sisters shows while she was in fashion school led me to up-skill myself into working for companies such as Chanel ,Smashbox and MAC cosmetics.

In this time I also Graduated and became officially qualified as an  Artist something I had dreamed of since I was young.MAC Impassioned and MAC Lady at play are colours I look at that show my personality, professionalism and love I have for the world of makeup plus of course if you haven't picked up already on my love for a bright  bold lip!

Lady at play & Impassioned

Basically the world is your oyster, follow your dreams like I have mine! Your future is what you make it so be a little daring, try that new bright pink lippy on the market, have no regrets and of course SMILE!!

Love and Lipsticks
