♥ Q&A with Biohazardous Beauty ♥

Although I'm a true girly girl at heart my inner artist has me intrigued every time I see a look of an alternative nature. Being a fan of a bold lip with Rebel and Cyber being worn often, sometimes my boundaries need a little shaking up to break them down some more.

It makes me feel a little more at ease when I get to follow the amazing face of Tori from Biohazardous Beauty! This girl is the Queen of a sleek winged liner in my eyes and has the look of gothic beauty down to a tee! With only certain people being able to pull off that deep dark black lip Tori rocks this especially on a porcelain skin.

If you want a little darkness for all the right reasons in your world be sure to follow Tori on all of her social media links below! She will inspire you to experience your inner depth with a splash of colour that's for sure!

Tori a huge welcome to paintedlips.co.nz!  Biohazardous Beauty is quite the huge phenomenon taking social media by a storm, where did your love for makeup begin?

-Thanks so much Stacey! It's a pleasure to be here! To be honest with you, my love of makeup really began as a love of art. I went through phases of drawing, painting, mixed media, and digital artwork, until I took my love of creating art to the next level, and started dabbling in the world of makeup. I was amazed at how much you could really change your appearance with just the use of some colored powders and kohl liners!

What's a typical day in your world?

-On any given day, you can find me in the morning with a cup of coffee (or an energy drink) checking emails, comments, and instagram. Then I'll usually hustle to squeeze in filming a tutorial on my makeup before heading out to work! After I come home from work, I spend my time winding down in the evening watching some Netflix while editing videos and photos preparing to release them to YouTube and other social networking sites.

Your bold alternative style is what intrigues me the most, you break barriers that I personally wouldn't even think of , what drives your creativity?

-Thank you! Like I said before, I've always been artistic, bold, and unforgiving. You probably won't find me trying out that recent neutral palette or red lip that's all the rage. As for my style, the alternative worlds of goth, cybergoth, and grunge all inspire me to be my own self, or to be whoever I feel like being that day.

What would be your top 5 beauty must haves?

-Eyeshadow Primer! (Can't live without it!)
-Moisturizer
-Liquid Eyeliner (obviously)
-Mascara
-Eyeshadow

Living in the USA you have access to some amazing brands, what would we find you using on a daily basis?

-One of my all-time favorite brands is Urban Decay. Even when I was first really getting into makeup, everything from their products to their packaging has always drawn me right in. And still does to this day!

I can't start my day without their Eyeshadow Primer Potion or the 24/7 Waterproof Liquid Liner in Perversion! Another favorite is Sugarpill Cosmetics. On any given day, you can find me using at LEAST one Sugarpill eyeshadow! The colors are so vivid and bold, I can't get enough!

Define your personal style in 3 words?

-Bold, Unforgiving, and Spooky

From following you on social media I think it's safe to say you are the Queen of Winged eyeliner !! Let us in on your secrets?

-Haha thank you! My biggest secret is probably to try not to get it perfect on the first try! It sounds silly, but really, if you pressure yourself too much, you'll just get frustrated and give up when it doesn't come out perfectly. A cotton bud soaked in makeup remover is your best friend for that crisp, clean wing.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years ? Do you hope to still be the known beauty guru you are today?

I hope so! I started posting my looks and my beauty page as my hobby, for fun. And it's still my hobby, and just for fun. The response I've received is absolutely overwhelming! I can only hope to see how far I can go with doing what I love to do!

This brings us to the end of our chat thank you so much for your time and inspiring fellow beauty addicts to explore outside of their comfort zone and see there's no boundaries when it comes to makeup.

Do you have any last words for us all?

I think you already said it perfectly, there are no boundaries, explore outside your comfort zone and find something new and exciting to love!
