Colour -The Recipe To A Happy Life ♥
It's amazing the power that the small things in life hold.. for some it's a smile from a passing stranger, a kind gesture or a compliment from a loved one, or even to be acknowledged for hard work and for others it's as simple as playing with a little colour.
I myself am one of those who enjoys the beauty of the small things in life, in which the joy of a bright pink lipstick is some kind of happiness like no other. Colour within my life is so important, I involve myself in it as much as I possibly can it just has this ethereal feeling and power to change your mindset and look on life.
The last couple of years have been a little tough for me in my personal life with the loss of two of my most loved family members, and through those sad days where all I could do was feel down... there was colour, right there in every shape and form.
An instant pick me up to turn that frown upside down, I would sit in my room for hours in fact I still do, just to play with product. From the array of colours, to the beautiful packaging cosmetics for me have been my comfort in the storm. As an artist this has made me explore new areas of creativity, to push my personal boundaries and show anything is possible.
It is so important to try new things, reaching out of your comfort zone can be scary as hell but when you conquer your fears, it's the best feeling in the world. So for all of you who prefer something a little more conservative, be adventurous and spice it up a little.
I can promise you colour will bring to your life more than you would ever imagine, even if you adapt your daily look by introducing a blusher or use a pop of coloured liner, you will feel refreshed, excited and ready to take on the world just by adding that hint of colour.
So let's make this coming July a month for positivity and a chance to discover a new found confidence, just by adding colour! So go on beauties pull out those shades that sit in your bathroom cupboard and let's get applying.
Be sure to tag my networks or hashtag #happinesswithcolour when you post your looks on social media I would love to see you all breaking those boundaries and embracing a bright pout.
