All About Eyes - Australis Review ♥

When it comes to quality cosmetics with an affordable price tag Australis have got you covered. From head to toe you can look and feel more than a little glam when wearing the brand, especially with new products added to their range frequently you'll always find a reason to treat yourself to a little something!

I put to the test a few eye products in which I was really impressed with, in particular the Gelifeye eye pencils, they are a dream to apply and the colour pay off is beyond wow factor as you will see below.

Multi Mega Lash Mascara $16.50 (NZD) - This is great if you love yourself a little Va Va Voom, I personally prefer a mascara with a comb like wand but in saying that this mascara looks fab when layered on top of my daily go to for a more dramatic look if I'm heading out. I love that it doesn't flake when it's dry and stays true to it's colouring for hours on end.

Swatches top to bottom, Gelifeye Blueberry Breeze, Gelifeye Sour Apply Soda, Smokifeye Liner Seattle Smog, Smokifeye liner Sombre Spring

The Smokifeye liner Pencils $12 (NZD) are available in 4 shades and are great for adding definition and depth. These are a breeze to blend if you are wanting to go for a Smoky look and look amazing under the eye. I add quite a bit to the bottom outer corner and use a pencil brush to smudge towards the inner of my eye, this creates depth and texture which I finds helps widen the appearance of my eye shape.

As you can see below I have also used one of the shades to use all over my lid. I like playing around with pencil liners as I love to find more than one use for my products. Seattle Smog is a great neutral colour and a item I would recommend for you to have amongst your collection.

When doing a smoky-ish eye I am really loving the "imperfect" smudged look that has been gracing the runways around the world. I used Seattle Smog pencil all over my lid and blended it out slightly using a 217 brush and my fingers to blur the edges. I went deeper through the crease area, but I didn't want anything too full on as I wanted the liners to be the pop of colour that catches your eye.

The top image Gelifeye $13.50 (NZD) in Sour Apple Soda can be seen, this is a beautiful forest green colour with an almost metallic sheen to it. This would look stunning on brown eyes to really make them pop. Gelifeye liner is easy to apply and very creamy in texture. It glides on and didn't seem to tug or pull across the lid, which makes for a comfortable application.

Blueberry Breeze as pictured in the bottom image is my favourite colour out of the two. I absolutely love this shade! This will be perfect in the Summertime paired with a cute LBD and a soft coral pout. I really liked the way it brought out the depth within my eyes and once it's in place it literally just doesn't move.

With a wind up mechanism I love that you never need to sharpen these, but the only downfall I find with this is if you wind it a little too far then it can be a little tricky to get back down. Overall I have been pretty impressed with these eye products, especially the Gelifeye Liners they are just so on point!
