Revealing all - My Holy Grail Foundation ♥

So after years of trying all kinds of brands high end and drugstore one product I could never really 100% be satisfied with was my foundation. Being a MAC Studio Fix wearer for a solid 5 years I liked it more than others but I didn't consider it the be all and end all, as I knew there could be better out there somewhere.. but it was just knowing where to start.


Like always I got my research on, continued to read many reviews and placed a few orders to give a range of different options a whirl. I first met Stila Stay All Day $88 NZD when my Beauty.com order arrived, out of all my purchases I was most excited to try this as I had seen a lot of positive feedback particularly for those who had more oily skin.

So the product how does it really compare? It is AMAZING! It's super comfortable to wear on the skin yet gives a flawless med/full coverage. I love that in the lid of this product there is a concealer to match, this is great for touch ups or for those areas that you may want to add a little more coverage. The best part is that these concealers can also be purchased separately, so when you run out there's no need to worry.

The colour range I found interesting (as you can see pictured) with the Stay All Day as a lot of them seem to be quite yellow toned with every second or third colour appearing to be more of a pink undertone. I have this to use within my kit and find that strangely enough I haven't met a shade I couldn't match, so their approach of colour choice seems to work fine within this line.

 As far as long wearing Stila hits the nail on the head, I always wear a primer daily but this foundation doesn't separate or move for at least a good 6-8 hours. I also love the fact that this doesn't seem to oxidise like some of my other foundations have done previously, there's nothing worse than leaving the house feeling like Megan Fox and coming home looking like you rolled in a bag of Dorito's.

To wrap this all up, for the last 4 months Stila Stay All Day hasn't left my side, it's there when I need it most and it tends to stick around, so really what more could you ask for... a loyal product creates a loyal buyer and Stila you have most certainly won my heart with Stay All Day.
